Our story

At Sojubar, we bring the bold flavours of Korea to the heart of your city. Our mission is simple: to create unforgettable moments around crispy Korean fried chicken, refreshing soju, and the joy of togetherness.

Born from a love for Korean street culture, we blend tradition with modern vibes — where every table is a place to laugh, share, and connect. Whether you’re here for a casual bite, a night out, or a new adventure in flavour, you’re always welcome at our bar.

Eat. Sleep. Soju. Repeat.
This is more than a meal, it’s a way of life.

In Korean Culture

meals are more than nourishment, they’re a ritual of connection.

Whether it’s sharing a table full of flavours, raising a glass of soju, or simply being present with friends and family, jeong (정). A deep sense of emotional warmth and community is always at the heart.

Sojubar was created to honor that spirit. We’re not just a place to eat, we’re a place to gather. A space where strangers become friends, friends become family, and every meal is a celebration of connection.

..to us, Korean fried chicken is personal

“When I was young, my father would always bring home old-fashioned fried chicken from the market on payday. Raising three children on a tight budget meant we had chicken more often than pork or beef. Since it wasn’t an everyday occurrence, I would wait excitedly for my father to come home on payday every month. The freshly fried chicken—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside—was warm and delicious in every way.

But as I grew older, I realized a deeper meaning. My father didn’t just bring home fried chicken to feed his hungry children—he brought it to give us happiness. Even after exhausting days at work, seeing us enjoy it must have given him strength and made him smile.

In the West, chicken is called soul food. In my country, Korea, fried chicken isn’t much different, it’s comfort food for the people.
At Sojubar, when we make chicken, we don’t just chase flavour. We aim to convey sincerity, a chance to share a meal, laughter, and memories.

Our Sojubar’s chicken is more than just food. It’s love. It’s devotion.

Korean Fried Chicken

A taste of home..
a piece of Korea

At Sojubar, our Korean Fried Chicken isn’t just a dish. It’s a story of tradition, of family, and of love that’s carried across oceans.

we bring Korea to your table.

Our Korean fried chicken isn’t just “Korean-style.” It is Korean, double-fried and marinated for 16 to 24 hours, the way it’s meant to be, with real ingredients imported straight from our homeland. Some might ask, “Do you really have to go that far?” But we didn’t set out to imitate Korean food, we set out to honor it. Because when Korean chefs cook with Korean ingredients, something deeper happens: we bring Korea to your table.
